Trichomoniasis

What's the scoop?

Trichomoniasis is a non-viral sexually transmitted infection. It is the most common nonviral STD across the globe.

Women are more likely to get the disease than men, however it often does not present any symptoms. If symptoms do occur, it is likely that they will develop within the first month of getting Trichomoniasis.

Diagnosis & Treatment

The infection can be detected by testing a swab from the vagina and can be treated with antibiotics if it doesn't go away on its own.
